Sledding
Because I am off track I don't have to go to school so today I went sledding. It was so much fun because the park we went to has really steep hills, and it was lonesome. After awhile my hands got cold so Heather said I could use her mittens if she could use my gloves. When I put on the mittens my hands were a lot warmer. I had a great time I sledded down steep hills and not so steep hills it was awesome. Luke was cold most of the time so he was always telling us that we should go home. Heather and I found a hill with a big bump in it. We thought it would be fun so we went down it. Heather went down first. She fell! The bottom of the hill was ice! Uh oh she was hurt. I hugged her and helped her up, she was okay! We didn't go down that hill again. At three thirty everyone but me was cold and wanted to go home. So Luke called mom on our mom's cellphone (my mom said he could use it). She said she would pick us up in fifteen minutes. my hands felt like they were frozen, they were so cold. So I took off my sister's mittens and stuck my hands in my pockets. I still wanted to sled so I tried sledding on it like a surf board it worked, but it wasn't fast. I wanted to go fast so I thought of a way that could make me go fast and keep my hands warm. I found a good spot set my board down and got on backwards. I had to push myself at the beginning, but when I put my feet up it made me go super fast and a long distance, too. I told Heather that it didn't get you cold at all so she tried it. She liked it, too! Mom came a couple minutes after, but that didn't stop us. Heather and I sledded down backwards three more times, but then Luke came and yelled at us so we had to go. It was so much fun I wish I was still sledding! I can't wait until I go again.
